The bag shown in the photos is the exact one you will receive. Each piece is one of a kind.

This unique crossbody bag is crafted using authentic WWII-era US Navy blanket wool, giving it rich history and unmatched character. The original blanket traveled overseas during World War II and was acquired from a family member of the veteran who owned it. The bag also has a matching tote available (see the final photo in the listing).

Note: The original owner of this blanket did have a dog. While the blanket has been professionally laundered and thoroughly cleaned, there may be a stray hair or two remaining.

Bag Details:

Handmade using waxed canvas for the exterior and vintage wool from the WWII blanket for the front pocket

Front includes two wool pockets

Back panel is waxed canvas only (no wool)

Lined with off-white canvas and includes one interior pocket

Finished with genuine leather handles and details

Adjustable and removable crossbody strap included

Brass metal accents and secure metal zipper closure

Why Choose Waxed Canvas?
Originally used in marine sails, waxed canvas is highly durable and water-resistant. It develops a beautiful patina with use. If desired, the finish can be refreshed using heat (e.g., a hair dryer). We recommend watching a short YouTube video for instructions.
